DfE School Performance Tables

In 2016, the new more challenging national curriculum, which was introduced in 2014, was assessed by new KS1 and KS2 tests and teacher assessment. Results are no longer reported as levels: each pupil receives their test results as a scaled score and teacher assessments based on the standards of the new framework. This release presents provisional attainment in these assessments and provisional progress data. This will be updated in December in the revised release. The results page also includes our Reception pupils’ and Year 1 and Year 2 phonics results.

Because of the changes to the 2016 SATS, figures for this year are not comparable to those for earlier years. The expectations for pupils at the end of key stage 2 have been raised. Given the differences in the curriculum and assessments, levels are not comparable with scaled scores or teacher assessment outcomes.
