Bierton Road Primary – Newsletter – Autumn 2 – 2019
Dear Parents and Carers,
As we approach the end of the Autumn Term we can look back on all we have achieved and celebrate many successes. We are grateful for your support and for ensuring your children get to school on time every day. School doors open at 8:25am on Tuesday 7th January. We are beginning our new attendance drive across school. The bell, for start of school, goes at 8:40am and at 8:42am the gates will be closed. If your child arrives after 8:42am they will be entered as late on the register. We are sure we can all work together to ensure everyone is punctual!
This week we have met with class teachers to discuss pupil progress and we are heartened about how much our pupils have achieved. We have some exciting learning planned for the spring term.
This term we have had many workshops and exciting trips which support our curriculum and learning. Some of these are mentioned in this newsletter.
Many of you are aware that Mrs Dosanjh will be leaving Starbank at the end of this term. Our best wishes and gratitude go to Mrs Dosanjh for her dedication and loyalty to the school over the past 13 years. It has been an honour and blessing working with her and we wish her every happiness in her future endeavours!
If you celebrate Christmas we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Enjoy having a special time with your children and families.
