Update – 5th Jan 2021
Dear Parents
Following on from my letter, I sent out yesterday evening http://bit.ly/SB-SR-Pri-Close, here is some further information which will support you and your children with the measures we have put in place.
As a school, we have been working hard to prepare ourselves to ensure that we are ready to deliver high quality remote learning to all of our pupils and to also provide an opportunity for vulnerable pupils and critical keyworker children to continue their learning at school (if needed) from 5th January 2021.
These are challenging times for everyone and I ask that you remain patient with us during this time. As always, all staff will be working tremendously hard to ensure that all Starbank Road pupils continue their learning.
Remote Learning from Home
A full remote learning timetable is in place for all pupils and will be delivered by the class teachers from Tuesday 5th January 2021 via Microsoft TEAMS. We have designed the timetable to ensure that not all pupils need to be online at the same time (Please see the Timetable).
Whilst all pupils in Year 1 – 6 will receive LIVE teaching, Reception pupils will follow a flexible schedule with pre-recorded lessons. They will also use the Tapestry medium.

- Any vulnerable pupils who choose to access remote learning will receive regular calls (2-3 times a week, some daily) from members of SLT, FACE Team or Learning Mentor.
- All SEND pupils will receive a weekly call from Mrs Perry.
- Every pupil will receive a weekly call from their class TA or Learning
