Design and Technology (Primary)

At Starbank we present Design and Technology as an inspiring, rigorous and practical subject, where pupils are encouraged to continuously search for answers by being creative and imaginative. We enable pupils to design and make products, which solve real and relevant problems, within a variety of contexts.

Through offering a challenging and engaging Design and Technology curriculum, we will allow pupils to build on key skills across each year group.  We aim to, wherever possible, link work to other subjects such as mathematics, science, computing and art.  This will be delivered by knowledgeable and highly motivated teachers, who support all children to become innovators and risk-takers.
