Starbank School, like all Star Schools follows the Trust’s R-18 Leadership Framework. Alongside the traditional school curriculum Starbank School pledges that all students will have opportunities to develop character, leadership and employability skills that count.
On the Friday 9th July 2021, all students at Starbank School will be involved in an Enrichment Day which will incorporate a range of exciting opportunities to explore, work as a team and develop understanding of a theme that they can use within their learning and the wider context of life as a young leader in the local and global community. Please see the details for each year group below.

All students in Year 9 and Year 10 will be required to come to the academy in full Starbank PE Kit. Any student that does not turn up in the correct kit will be asked to go home and rectify this before being allowed to participate. While there has been supply chain issues this year, students are expected to wear Starbank PE kit or plain black sports kit. Students in Y9 and Y10 should arrive in PE kit for Friday 9 July only, on every other day students must arrive at the academy in full uniform and are expected to change into their PE kit if this is timetabled for that day. As ever, all students are required to bring their normal school equipment: bag, pencil case, planner, knowledge organiser and Star Reader.
More information about this day will be shared with all students during form time and in their year group assemblies.
Timings for the day will remain as normal, as will arrangements for lunch, with a finish for all students at 12.00 noon.
Thank you for your kind co-operation
