On Friday 8th of May 2020, the nation will be remembering 75 years since the surrender of the German armed forces marking the end of the European conflict during WW2. Although the disruption of the lockdown continues, there are still plenty of ways to celebrate and commemorate this important event. Please join  Starbank School with a 2 minute  silence at 11 am. The day will ensure that all people even during these unprecedented times will have the opportunity to remember and honour our heroes of the Second World War and reflect on the sacrifices of a generation.

To mark VE Day this year, The National Museum of the Royal Navy, the National Army Museum and the Royal Air Force Museum are joining forces to host a free online festival, bringing to life the stories of those who helped deliver Victory in Europe.
